peggZ pieces were developed with a design team that included a five-year-old boy and his three-year-old sister. They approved--or rejected--early prototypes based on height, feel, ease of use, and whether they were having a good day. But, only adults have crafted the final pieces. And most of those adults have kids of their own. Why is this important? Because you'll want to know that peggZ furniture meets US safety standards. The assembly pegs exceed the size required to ensure no child may choke. As with any project-oriented items, adult supervision is recommended; after a short time, however, your children will be showing you what to do. Enjoy!
